Following their debut of new Air Force 1’s and a trio of Jordan’s, Nike continues to honor the Lunar New Year. The special footwear and apparel collection adds a new Dunk High “Year of the Tiger” to the commemorative capsule.

Foremost, the eyes are instantly drawn to the intricate details scattered throughout the base layer. Much like previous iterations in Nike’s Lunar New Year collection, tiger stripes pay homage to this year’s Chinese zodiac sign. This is apparent on the heels and part of the quarter panels, both of which feature black and yellow tiger stripes. The other portion of the quarter panels is dressed in black suede, while the toe box and mudguard use light gray suede. If you take a closer look, you’ll notice monochromatic floral embroidery stitched onto the black swooshes and overlays. Further, the tongues feature a satin shroud with exclusive Nike branding. Additional detailing takes the form of Chinese characters embedded in the toe boxes and small yellow swooshes on the mudguards. Outsoles are stylized with more tiger stripes over an orange tint to further echo the theme of the collection.
Nike has yet to announce a release date for these Dunk Highs, but we’ll keep you posted once they do. In the meantime, enjoy the official images in the gallery above. As usual, let us know your thoughts by voting below!
