Nike continues to roll out new renditions of its Dunk Low silhouette. This latest iteration of Nike’s classic sneaker pays homage to local barbershops and their service to communities.
We appreciate all aspects of how the Swoosh went about this particular Dunk Low design. The sneaker features gray nubuck upper with white leather accents. However, the storytelling is in the intricate details here. Additional tan graphics on the heel resemble the messy hair patterns seen on barbershop floors. These graphics are hedged by red, white, and blue piping that resembles iconic barbershop poles. Further detailing includes mismatched lace tips and gold lace dubraes resembling clipper guards. Lastly, pure white midsoles and light blue rubber outsoles complete the beautiful design. These Dunks are a much-needed breath of fresh air, deviating from Nike’s two-tone colorways we’ve seen a bunch recently.
