They’ve done the whole Jordan Brand thing with the grailed Air Jordan 1 collaboration which released in 2018. Then they hit us with two sets of the Air Jordan 4 in 2020 and 2021. So what’s next for the beloved streetwear boutique Union LA. Well, they’re partnering with Nike once again, but this time on the popular Nike Dunk Low. We first saw these in the latter half of November, but now we have official images from Nike.
For the Union x Nike Dunk Low, Chris Gibbs and his team refrained from touching on the traditional Dunk Low constructions. Replacing the smooth leather uppers with a full grid-patterned upper that features a cool baby blue hue across the forefoot and overlays and a gradient purple hue atop the quarter panels and collars. We get hits of contrast with the all white tongues in addition to the Union tabs that are placed on the quarters. We also get exposed orange stitching that outlines the shoes panels. We also get the Union Frontman logo that sits on the lateral portion of the heels. This all sits atop a clean white midsole and icy blue outsole.
Even the shoe box features a special flight-inspired motif and comes with a special flight ticket that says “Nike In Collaboration With Union.” The Union x Nike Dunk Low are set to release in 2022.
