NIGO’s HUMAN MADE and Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER imprints are renowned streetwear staples. NIGO, full name Tomoaki Nagao, first met Takahashi amidst his studies at Bunka Fashion College. It was there that the two worked together on a serial column called “Last Orgy 2” for the pop-culture magazine Takarajima. The column ran from 1992 to 1994 before culminating with the launch of NOWHERE, a streetwear haven in Harajuku, Tokyo, on April 1, 1993.

With a revival iteration dubbed “Last Orgy 2.1” released via GQ Japan in 2021, the NOWHERE duo joins forces yet again. This cold-weather apparel collection includes minimalist crewnecks, hoodies, sweatshirts, T-shirts, and coach jackets. Multifaceted creator VERDY works his creative magic by lending his playful font, as seen on the hoodies and tees. He also updates the heart icon on the back panel of the T-shirt to read “Girls Don’t Cry” in a nod to his streetwear label. The crewneck sweaters and coach jackets use the classic collegiate-style “Last Orgy Two” font around a stylized ape mascot. The latter piece features snap buttons down the front and adjustable drawstrings at the hem. Each of the five pieces comes in a variety of neutral colorways. This includes olive green, burgundy, navy, grey, black, and white.
The collection goes live via both HUMAN MADE and UNDERCOVER‘s websites on February 5th. You can check out all of the pieces from the collection in the gallery above.
