A Ma Maniére returns with another collaboration with Jordan Brand and this time with the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. We first saw images of these beauties in the summer, but now we have an official look thanks to the good people at Jordan Brand.
Nike Appears to Be Following Facebook into the Metaverse
For this highly anticipated collaboration, James Whitner and his squad at A Ma Maniére chose a simple yet elegant, two-toned theme. A majority of the sneakers paneling, such as the toe boxes, overlays, quarters and heels, feature a premium cracked leather material in a luxurious off-white hue. You’ll also find luxe maroon accents on the laces, Nike Air tongue branding and ball-and-wings logos, as well as the Swooshes and ankle collars which all feature a different texture.
You’ll notice a lovely cursive font on the lower heels, tongues, at the tips of the shoelaces and on the insoles. They also concealed a note within the interior of the ankle flaps that bears MJ’s signature alongside the inspirational phrase:
“You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.”
