Chitose Abe Teases a New sacai x Nike Blazer Low Colorway

Featuring sacai's signature double-stacked silhouette and glossy black uppers.

Following last year’s three-way collaboration with Brooklyn-based artist Kaws, Nike and designer Chitose Abe of sacai link up for another iteration of the Blazer Low. This latest installment embodies a yin and yang motif, enhancing the lifestyle shoe with an elevated appeal.

‘Black Panther’ Sequel Temporarily Shuts Down Production

The eye is immediately drawn to the Blazer’s glossy side panels. The sidewalls and toe boxes substitute their standard smooth leather for solid black patent leather. Several elements of the sneakers still use sacai’s signature double-stacked silhouette, though they appear a bit more subdued in this rendition. The base layer Swoosh comes in a tonal black while the foreground is finished in white. The tongues and laces also come doubled up, with the outer and inner layers in black and white, respectively. A hint of orange makes an appearance on the tongue tags via Nike’s Swoosh and Sportswear logos. A textured midsole with chevron-patterned outsoles features an angelic paint job to complete the look.

Nike and sacai have yet to announce a release date for the latest Blazer Low. We expect them to release in the coming months as Abe looks to drop new colorways of the silhouette throughout 2022.
