Fresh off their Fall 2021 capsule, Japanese streetwear imprint BAPE links up yet again with iconic skate brand Vans. The second collaboration, much like the first, includes two sneakers and two apparel items.

Starting off with the main attractions, BAPE reworks the Sk8-Hi 38 DX and Old Skool 36 DX models. BAPE’s signature camo print adorns both sneakers, creating a near-perfect street-meets-skate balance. The Sk8-Hi is designed in a mismatched fashion, with shades of BAPE camo in blue, pink, and green on the quarters. The heel, eyestays, tongue, and toe use a range of solid colors to further the unique style. For the Old Skool silhouette, BAPE takes a more uniform approach. BAPE’s signature green camo is on full display, adorning the quarters for a classic look. The pattern is complimented by a subtle olive green hue on the heel, eyestays, and toe box. Both iterations include white laces, Vans’ white quarter stripe, black midsole stripe, white midsoles, and traditional waffle bottoms.
Additionally, the capsule includes two limited edition T-shirts – one in black and one in white. Both shirts feature the same image of the Sk8-Hi 38 DX sneaker printed on the back. The shirts also include co-branded graphics on the chest and back.
The second BAPE x Vans collection arrives on February 26th. It’ll be released exclusively via BAPE and Vans retail stores, as well as on the Vans website. In the meantime, take a look at the items in the gallery above.
