Nike’s affinity for mushrooms has flown under the radar for some time. The Swoosh has previously incorporated the humble fungus into pairs of Air Jordan 1s, Air Jordan 4s, and Blazer Mids. Now, Nike brings back the mushroom to grace the always stylish Air Force 1 Low.
Extra Butter Teams Up With Saucony For “White Rabbit” Shadow 600
The classic silhouette features a white corduroy toebox, quarter panel, and lining with an ombré tumbled leather overlay. From the top, a saturated brown hue fades and blends into a white base just above the sole. Each panel stands out against the neutral fixtures. Black nubuck is seen on the swoosh and heel tab, as well as on traditional Nike Air branding on the tongue tag and midsole. On the heel, you’ll find a special block-text Nike logo made up of tiny mushroom shoots. Brown sugar laces and a sail-white midsole complete the sneaker. The immaculate detailing and contrasting materials in the design of the shoe show once again that the Swoosh is in a league of its own.
