Rams’ Cooper Kupp Secures Receiving Triple Crown

Becoming just the fourth receiver to reach the statistical feat.

It’s not often you see a start-to-finish run of dominance like Rams’ wide receiver Cooper Kupp showed this year. The former third-round draftee out of Eastern Washington balled out all season long en route to the receiver’s triple crown.

Kupp led the NFL with 145 receptions, 1,947 receiving yards, and 16 touchdowns this season. The fifth-year receiver becomes just the fourth player in the Super Bowl era to achieve the feat. He joins Sterling Sharpe (1992), Steve Smith (2005), and Hall of Famer Jerry Rice (1990) as members of the elusive club. Kupp also finished just 18 yards short of breaking Calvin Johnson’s record for most receiving yards in a season in NFL history. Regardless, Kupp has quite a case for Offensive Player of the Year and league MVP awards, though Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady may have something to say about that.

SUPER FREDDY Delivers The Vibes With His New Cut “Gold Star”

Though the Rams lost Sunday’s game against the 49ers, 27-24, they won their division thanks to an Arizona Cardinals loss. They enter the playoffs seeking their second Super Bowl title and first in the Sean McVay era. They’ll take on the aforementioned Cardinals for the third time this season in the playoffs next weekend.
