Of the thousands of iterations of Dunks to emerge from Nike in the past few years, arguably none has garnered the mainstream popularity of the “Panda” Dunk Lows. The sneaker has become a street style staple and is in many ways an entry point for emerging sneakerheads for its versatility and constant restocks. To shake things up, Nike introduces a tweaked version of the classic design with striking red accents.

This latest Dunk Low channels the essence of the “Panda” with its black and white main build. The base layer here uses white tumbled leather – as opposed to the Panda’s smooth leather – beneath black smooth leather overlays. Nike injects a pop of color with eye-catching “University Red” Swooshes. Red appears again on the tongue tags and heel tab beneath Nike branding in black. Another minor disparity in this design is the white interior lining instead of the black seen in the original “Panda”. Down below, a white midsole rests above a black outsole to complete the design.
