Following their expansive collection released at the top of the year, The North Face and KAWS are back for round two. The activewear specialists and Brooklyn-based artist unveiled another batch of cold-weather gear, this time with a more minimal approach. While KAWS’ bold colors and patterns brought the inaugural range to life, the latest offering adopts an understated color motif and tonal prints.

For the garments, KAWS reimagines styles from The North Face Expedition System. First launched in 1990, the Expedition System is an advanced integrated clothing system designed for high-altitude expeditions. The main pieces include Nuptse, Denali, and Mountain jackets. Specifically, fan favorites such as the 1996 Nuptse Jacket, ’86 Mountain Jacket, and ’95 Denali fleece jacket and pants make a grand return. The collection also features ThermoBall Traction Mules, pullover hoodies, and long-sleeve T-shirts, as well as duffle bags and Nuptse mitts. All items appear in tonal shades of black and white with the previously seen KAWS XX pattern.
Take a moment to check out the official campaign and product photos in the gallery above. The latest The North Face XX KAWS collection will be available online, at select TNF locations, and select retailers beginning October 25. Prices range from $55 to $550 USD.
