Nike Offers a Patchwork Treasure with the SB Blazer “Bandana”

Meticulously balancing floral and paisley patterns with several different fabrics.

It seems as though Nike is adding to their “Paisley Pack” on a daily basis. Continuing to experiment with the teardrop-shaped motif, Nike now offers us a new SB Blazer Mid Edge dubbed “Bandana.” Typically offered in white, the Blazer Mid has undergone several wild creative changes in the hands of Nike SB. None prior have removed the silhouette from its comfort zone quite like this latest iteration.

The Undeniable Passion Behind Supreme Carl

Nike uses the rule of three here to create a very well-balanced patchwork sneaker. The uppers feature a beautiful medley of canvas, suede, denim, corduroy, and leather fabrics. The sneaker’s main components are grouped in threes. This includes tri-tone “Nike” heel tab stitching over a paisley print, as well as eye stays and swooshes stacked with corduroy, suede, and denim. Paisley prints further adorn the medial side panel while floral prints grace the lateral side. These fabrics chosen for the “Bandana” are almost akin to retro wallpaper of the 70s. Tongue tabs and insoles display classic Nike SB branding in an ocean blue color. A trisected sole unit pieces together white and translucent brown gum midsoles to complete the sneaker.

Expect these to arrive via Nike’s website and with select retailers in the coming weeks. In the meantime, take a look at Nike’s SB Blazer Mid Edge “Bandana” in the gallery above. As always, let us know your thoughts by leaving a review below!
