Apple Announces New Self Service Repair Program
Made in close collaborations with the people at Sony PlayStation, the design for the Backbone One draws inspiration from PS5’s DualSense controllers. This is evident in the transparent face buttons and distinct floating appearance. Under the left and right handles you’ll find a 3.5mm headphone jack and lightning port. In addition to PS4 and PS5 games, the controller is compatible with various Apple App Store games. The device also supports recordings as well as streaming on Twitch. Further, the controller requires no charging as it pulls power directly from the connected iPhone.
For those of us without iPhones, Backbone also offers a controller compatible with Android devices.
The Backbone One is available to purchase now on Backbone’s website for $100 USD. The controller is currently compatible with iPhone 13 series down to the iPhone 6s. More information regarding the setup of the device can be found here.
