Union Los Angeles and Nike continue to deliver some of the hottest kicks of 2022. Following the release of the “Sesame” and “Off-Noir” colorways, Chris Gibbs and his team at Union reveal yet another striking rendition of the Nike Cortez. Aesthetically speaking, the “Lemon Frost” adopts brighter, more summertime tones than its two predecessors. For the build, upper suede panels display a light gray, almost white hue from toe to heel. Woven textile canvas covers the underneath portion of the upper, appearing in pink and purple color-blocked stripes. Yellow Swooshes and accents inject a pop of sunshine while sky blue stitching furthers this summer-ready palette. Union adds their usual touch with “UN/LA” hangtags and their frontman logo on the heel flap.
While Nike and Union have yet to confirm a release date for the “Lemon Frost” Cortez, insiders suspect a release in the coming weeks.
