Nike Looks to Arizona State as Inspiration for the Latest Dunk Low

A classic two-tone Dunk honoring Sun Devil Athletics.

Dating back to 1985’s “Be True To Your School” pack, Nike has used its signature silhouette to honor various college basketball programs. Though Arizona State Athletics currently reps the Three Stripes of adidas, Nike uses the school’s palette for its latest Dunk Low. Dressed in the Sun Devils’ signature burgundy and gold hues, here are official images of the Nike Dunk Low “Arizona State”.

First Look: Why So Sad? x Nike SB Dunk Low

Nike follows a similar design route as seen on the “UCLA” and “USC” iterations for the Dunk Low “Arizona State”. The Swoosh uses premium leather across gold overlays that wrap around a burgundy base. Nylon makes an appearance on both the tongue and interior lining of the sneaker. Further, standard Nike branding appears on the tongue tag and heel tabs. Underneath, a crisp white midsole rests atop a gold rubber outsole to complete the design.

Though Nike has yet to confirm any release information, we anticipate the Dunk Low “Arizona State” to arrive in the coming weeks. The kicks will likely drop on Nike’s website for the standard $100 USD. In the meantime, take a second to check out the official images in the gallery above.
