Nike Adds a Quilted Base to the Dunk Low for Autumn

Appearing in a "Wheat" colorway begging the leaves to start falling.

Although temperatures are barely starting to rise for the summer months, Nike Sportswear is already gearing up for the cooldown. The latest Dunk Low coming out of the Swoosh’s design lab features a seasonal color scheme and material that dreams of crunching leaves.

Jordan Brand Bridges Sneakers and Clogs with New Two-Piece Design

This iteration of the Dunk Low comes dressed in a toe-to-tail “Wheat” color for a fully monochrome upper. The detail here lies in the choice of texture. Nike opts for a quilted base with tumbled leather overlays for a more traditional finish. Additional details include mesh tongues and interior lining with matching tonal branding on the tongue and heel tabs. Down below, a white midsole rests atop a semi-translucent gum rubber outsole to complete the sneaker.

Nike has yet to reveal a release date for this quilted Dunk Low. We expect the sneaker to arrive in the coming weeks via Nike’s website as part of a fall-themed release catalog. As always, we’ll keep you posted with more details as they emerge. In the meantime, take a second to peruse the official images in the gallery above.
