There’s no doubt that the rise of the clog-style silhouette in footwear is one of 2022’s biggest trends. From Salehe Bembury making noise with Crocs, to Birkenstock teaming up with Dior, to Ye pumping out Yeezy Foam Runners, it doesn’t appear the trend is going to die anytime soon. Naturally, Jordan Brand looks to throw its hat in the ring and cash in on the movement.
Nike Wins Big with the Dunk Low SE “Lottery”
To some, it was only a matter of time before Jordan Brand tried its hand in this footwear category. The sportswear brand’s forthcoming offering certainly has several striking elements that could make it a go-to clog option. The exterior of the model dons a sleek rubber shell shrouded in an off-white hue. The choice of color resembles the very first “Ararat” Yeezy Foam Runners. Further, ventilation holes are cut into the toe boxes alongside perforated textures that extend to the collars. Additional design details include heels built with a slight slit for additional breathability and the Jumpman logo debossed into the lateral rear. The difference-maker for Jordan Brand’s interpretation of the clog is the removable neoprene bootie. The elephant print accessory gives these slip-on kicks their own signature look and feel.
Jordan Brand has yet to announce a release date, though we expect these to release in the coming months via the Nike website. In the meantime, take a second to peruse the official images in the gallery above.
