Check Out the Union LA x Nike Cortez in “Cement Grey”

The fourth collaborative Cortez between Union LA and the Swoosh.

Alongside the official reveal of the “Lemon Frost” colorway, Nike and Union LA shared the fourth iteration of their collaborative Cortez. Inspired by the rich history and cultural diversity of Los Angeles, Union looks to the future of footwear with its take on the Cortez. Celebrating the first 50 years with their sights set on the next 50, here are official images of the Union LA x Nike Cortez “Cement Grey”.

Nike Adds the Dunk Low SE 85 to its Retro Tribute

For the fourth iteration of the Nike Cortez, Chris Gibbs and the team at Union LA utilize many of the same design elements as its predecessors. Upper suede panels use the titular shade of gray as an homage to the streets of Los Angeles. Additionally, the midsoles offer an Easter-friendly palette with color-blocked textile woven canvas in pink and yellow. Further hits of bright blue appear on the Swooshes, throat, tongues, and heel tabs. Union LA branding appears once again in the form of “UN/LA” forefoot tabs and the boutique’s Frontman logo on the heels. Union’s signature motto “Know the Ledge” graces the interior of the tongues. Down below, Crater Foam cushioning at the midsole and Nike Grind traction further the Swoosh’s “Move to Zero” campaign.

Nike and Union LA have yet to confirm a release date for the “Cement Grey” Cortez. We expect a release in the coming weeks via Union’s official website for $150 USD.
