Building off the momentum from their Dunk Low “Passport Pack,” Union LA is reconnecting with Jordan Brand on a few Air Jordans. The first entry in the revitalized partnership is an Air Jordan 2 in a “Rattan” colorway. The Los Angeles-based retailer, as well as the Swoosh, took to Instagram to tease the shoes with animated foliage.

Nature appears to play a key role in the creation of this Air Jordan 2. Flower-like shapes adorn the collars in tonal fashion, while most of the uppers are styled in the titular shade. However, there is a hint of golden yellow beneath midfoot perforations. Additionally, Union LA branding tags rest near the throat, while a co-branded banner is sewn onto the collars. Insoles are dipped in a vibrant shade of yellow with red cross-branding on the heels. Both parties also stamp their logos again on tongue tags.
Early reports suspect the Union LA x Air Jordan 2 “Rattan” to release on April 15th for $225 USD. However, Chris Gibbs and his team at Union LA have yet to confirm this information.
