LaMelo Ball took the NBA by storm last season with his flashy passing and three-level scoring prowess. After winning Rookie of the Year, he’s only gotten better in year two, averaging nearly 20 points per game with 8 assists and seven rebounds. The lanky guard has been balling in his first signature shoe all year long. Now, PUMA adds a second colorway for the sneaker.

Back in December, PUMA released the first iteration of the MB.01 – the “Red Blast”. The fiery all-red sneaker quickly sold out on PUMA’s website. The second iteration – the MB.01 “Buzz City” – is inspired by LaMelo’s team, the Charlotte Hornets. Similar to the “Red Blast,” the base layer consists of breathable mesh and synthetic materials in a stealthy “Puma Black” color. Embroidered collar wings in a bright “Blue Atoll” hue also give the sneaker an eccentric pop. Additional details come in the form of “1 of 1” notations on the tongues, as well as the “Not From Here” slogan above the toe box. The back heel features additional PUMA branding and “M.E.L.O.” to complete the sneaker.
