This week, we’ve seen several new colorways of the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 appear courtesy of individuals who were close with iconic designer Virgil Abloh. Initially unveiled last June as part of Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2022 line, one of the highly-anticipated pieces is finally being released to the public. Presenting, official images of The Louis Vuitton and Nike “Air Force 1” by Virgil Abloh.
New Balance Gives the 327 a Stealthy Rework
According to many sneakerheads, these are “the best fusion of haute couture and streetwear” that the community has laid eyes on. The uppers feature a combination of Louis Vuitton’s classy patterns and premium quality fabrics. Classic dark brown monogram graphics appear on the quarter panels, overlays, and leather tongue. The Swooshes, heel overlays, and toe box feature white and gray Damier patterns. Abloh’s signature Helvetica bold quotes pop up throughout the sneaker. The French word “LACET” appears on the laces, as well as “AIR” on the midsole. Further, a very regal “Louis Vuitton for Nike” notation appears on the medial side just beneath the Swooshes. Branding on the tongue has been angled to the lateral side, reading “Louis Vuitton Air”.
Additionally, each pair arrives in a bright orange Taurillon leather pilot case. LV’s monogram pattern appears once again debossed on the surface. The case also features a 3D Swoosh-shaped leather tag and Louis Vuitton-branded luggage tags.
