Benedict Cumberbatch will join Tom Holland, in Spider-Man 3, as Doctor Strange. This news is exciting because our web-slinger needs a mentor. Although the movie hasn’t received its official name, they have reported it it’ll be going into production soon, will showcase Cumberbatch before he stars in his own Doctor Strange sequel, with Sam Raimi reportedly taking the director’s chair.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Doctor Strange play the role of mentor to Spider-Man. A role that was once upheld by Iron Man. Tony Stark passed away in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame and Peter Parker needs someone to help him watch his back. We’ll see how things go. The Marvel Cinematic Universe will somehow incorporate Sony‘s new multiverse. It’s unclear how Electro will come about and will Jamie Fox be playing the same villain or a reimagined version of the character. Including Dr. Strange makes the possibilities endless.

We’ll keep you posted when we learn more. In the meantime, we wanted to share What We Know About “Spider-Man: Miles Morales” for the PS5. Lastly, for more entertainment news, Netflix Cancels Hit Show ‘Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj’.
