KotOR is based on an earlier Star Wars comic book series set 4,000 years before the formation of the Galactic Republic.  The original Knights of the Old Republic was released in 2003, with a sequel coming the following year.  Though the original game was initially released on Xbox, the remake is set to debut through Playstation.  Playability on other consoles will be revealed at a later date.  While Sony and Aspyr have yet to announce a release date, excitement is unlikely to decline for this beloved game.

Sony also announced upcoming games Project Eve, Wolverine, and God of War: Ragnarok.  You can check out the trailer for KotOR in the player above, or watch Sony’s full showcase here.
