Notre, a shop based out of Chicago has joined forces with Nike on a new Dunk High that will drop sometime this year. We’ve showed you several pictures of the “Light Orewood Brown” version from last week. Now we have a first look at the “Blue Void” colorway. We first saw these last year, now we have official images of the “Blue Void” which features a host of distinct tones and textures. Set to resemble car mechanic shop uniforms.
It all starts with the upper which features who shades of blue. Of course there’s “Blue Void” on the mudguards, eyestays, collar flaps and heel overlays. They contrast things nicely with light blue-gray on toe boxes, quarters, and collars. With overlays of the of heavy suede, you’ll notice that they split the base in two: lateral quarters and toe boxes feature a rich leather, while medial quarters take on a durable canvas and they split the heel 50/50.
Notre’s signature “handshake” moniker sits on the lateral Swoosh which features a dark navy-hued leather construction. The medial Nike swooshes take on the “Blue Void” suede. Nike adds one major detail that we believe is the standout feature of the sneaker. There’s a Notre name badge that sits atop the standard Nike Sportswear tongue tag. Definitively taken from shirts worn by mechanics.
Paired with flecked laces, wooly gray insoles, dark navy canvas heel tabs and gray heel pieces. This all sits atop intentionally yellowed midsoles and navy blue outsoles. We don’t have an official release date for the Notre x Nike Dunk High just yet, but it’ll likely show up on the Nike SNKRS and on Notre website this spring for a retail price of $120. You can have a detailed look at the images in the gallery above. Lastly, for more sneaker news,
