The Houston Rockets just sent former MVP James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets. We know, crazy, right? This all came about via a blockbuster four-team trade deal. Even prior to the 2020-2021 NBA season, Harden began showing complete disinterest in staying with the Houston Rockets. Well it looks like James Harden gets what James Harden wants as he’ll now team up with up with two of the NBA’s biggest superstars in Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

In this colossal deal, the Rockets will receive FOUR first-round picks and four-pick swaps. Which are all unprotected, mind you. They also gain Rodions Kurucs and Dante Exum. Caris LeVert gets traded to the Indiana Pacers, and Victor Oladipo will head to Houston. Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince were also part of this trade and will head to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

At first glance, the Nets appear to be a dominant force now, especially in the East. However, we have three superstars that all love to have the ball in their hands. So it’s likely they’ll need some gel time to get into a rhythm. We’ll see how this pan out this season. And yes, WAVYPACK officially covers basketball now.
