You can say a great deal about Brooklyn but more often than not, the creativity that flows through the city is unparalleled. This innovative nature gives way to artists such as DON DR3. A native of the city and up-and-coming talent. Granted the talent, DON DR3 has his hands in a majority of his creative development. Whether it’s being the frontrunner regarding his creative direction visually, or having a hand in the production, mixing and mastering. He has it all here, gritty, yet refined, raw and unapologetic.
For his latest offering, the Brooklyn emcee takes to the streets of NYC and Brooklyn to drop off one of his most eclectic visuals to date. In these times masks have become such a common practice, it’s now second nature and the new norm. Hailing from a city that the virus hit hard only makes this visual all the more fitting. The Zach Stith directed visual also doubles as a tribute and dedication to Westly “Wes” Green who passed recently.
Produced by AGXNY x GAULTI3R the beat takes center stage. Using a lead distorted synth as the main melody. Paired with booming 808’s and flickering high-hats to complete the sound.
