Dua Lipa has a longstanding relationship with Donatella Versace, having first met her in 2017 in London. Lipa featured in Versace’s Fall 2021 campaign and opened and closed the Spring 2022 show in Milan Fashion Week. Recently, she attended the Fall 2023 show held in West Hollywood.

Dua Lipa expressed her excitement about co-designing the collection, saying it honored her to work with Donatella and was grateful for the support she has received from the team. Versace echoed the sentiment, praising Dua’s creativity and saying the collaboration had been exciting.

“[Donatella] and I have formed such a strong bond over the years, and I’m so grateful for the support I’ve received from her and the whole team since the very beginning of my career,” she added. “For her to give me the honor of co-designing this collection and letting all my summer inspirations go wild has been a dream. I am so very proud of this collection and cannot wait to debut it in Cannes.”

The collection will be available for purchase in stores and online immediately after the fashion show. For more fashion news, stay tuned for more content from the new WavyPack. Be sure to check out more in our fashion section.
