The eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low Could See a Return in 2022

Paying homage to the three original pairs first seen in 2003.

One of the most sought-after Dunks of all time could see a re-release this year, with a new twist. Admittedly, an e-commerce marketplace may seem like a strange match for Nike’s skateboarding sublabel, though this collaboration has a lot of history. In 2003, Nike produced just three pairs of the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low. One pair sold for $26k, another was gifted to the late Sandy Bodecker for his retirement from Nike Skateboarding in 2008, and the final pair was cut into four pieces.

The 2022 iteration of the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low looks to pay homage to the original pair with the same color scheme as the original. Overlays dipped in eBay’s signature red, yellow, blue, and green colors cover a white base. Additionally, the new version of the sneaker features “clear” stripes across the sole and side panels as a nod to the cutting of the original sample. Further, the heel panels will feature SB branding rather than an eBay-themed Nike logo.

Several insiders anticipate new pairs of the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low will become available via auction to benefit The Bodecker Foundation. These rumors are, of course, still in their infancy, so we’ll keep you posted with further updates.
