Fresh off the formal announcement of their opulent collection with Gucci, adidas keeps the momentum going with another exciting collaboration. This time around, the Three Stripes reconnects with Palace Skateboards on an outdoors-themed collection. Palace and adidas have worked together since 2014, with their work often centered around skateboarding design and sneakers.
The Wind House by Mobius Architects is a Fortress Within Nature
The nature-inspired collection includes a range of apparel and accessories designed for the great outdoors. Leading the pack is a lightweight jacket covered in alternating pockets sporting netting, collaborative branding, and pull cords. The iconic Three Strips grace the arms alongside adidas Originals’ “End Plastic Waste” symbol near the right cuff. Further, a pair of matching trousers cut from the same “End Plastic Waste” materials see its logo alongside the Palace recycling logo.
The collection predominantly uses “Wild Pine” and “Stone” colors in their palette, appearing on the main outerwear as well as a series of T-shirts. There’s also a fleece jumper adorned with a Trefoil logo, a Palace moniker, and “nature” written in cursive. Lastly, accessories in this must-have collection include a summer cap and a versatile backpack. Both of these items follow the same theme as the aforementioned lightweight jacket.
Additionally, Palace recruited documentarian Will Robson-Scott for a short film to launch this season’s collaboration with adidas. The film features skater Heitor Da Silva and renowned fisherman, photographer, angler, and tea connoisseur Chris Yates as they explore the British countryside.
The “Palace Adidas Nature” collection releases on May 20th via the Palace webstore and adidas Confirmed app. Take a second to check out the lookbook images, as well as the official product shots, in the gallery above. As always, be sure to share your thoughts in the comments section below!
