Nike Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with New SB Dunk Low

A clover-themed colorway just in time for the Feast of Saint Patrick.

Nike continues to roll out new Dunk iterations in nearly every colorway imaginable. After an impressive run of sneakers dedicated to the Lunar New Year, Nike gets back into the holiday spirit. The Swoosh channels the luck of the Irish in a new SB Dunk Low paying homage to the holiday honoring the patron saint of Ireland – St. Patrick’s Day.

Nike Takes the Dunk Low Out to Sea and Returns with the “Ocean”

The low-top sneaker wears an emerald green suede across the quarters, overlays, and laces. Metallic gold graces the patent leather Swooshes to contrast the lucky green base. Further accents on the tongue and heel branding also utilize this gold color. Additionally, Nike adds a white four-leaf clover stitched onto the lateral heel for a wee bit of extra luck. Surprisingly, Nike opts against using a pot of gold or leprechaun motif in the sneaker. However, we appreciate the minimalist approach in the detailing as to not overkill the design. The uppers sit atop a white midsole with a yellow gum rubber outsole that closely resembles the gold accents to complete the sneaker.

The Dunk Low “St. Patrick’s Day” will be released this month via Nike’s website and SNKRS. We expect them to release prior to the holiday, which is on March 17th. The sneaker will be available in both adult and kid sizes. Be sure to let us know your thoughts by voting below!

Lastly, Nike Introduces Dunk Low Next Nature in “White Mint”.
