South Park and Adidas Return with Four New Sneakers

Each representing one of the four boys from the iconic cartoon series.

Earlier this year, we showed you an epic adidas Campus 80 inspired by South Park’s iconic pot smoking towel, Towelie.  Following the success of the 4/20 sneaker, adidas and South Park have teamed up once again with four new sneakers honoring the foul-mouthed hooligans.  That’s right, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman are each getting their own signature shoe.

Foremost, let’s start with the first leaked sneaker from the capsule.  Fittingly, Stan Marsh gets a custom adidas Stan Smith.  The sneaker is minimalist in design, removing the iconic three stripes to better resemble Marsh’s classic winter beanie.  The rich blue tone is contrasted with a red reinforcing suede strip just above the sole.  Synthetic leather makes up most of the sneaker’s upper and inner-lining.  The tongue is suede with a picture of Stan Marsh endorsing the shoe.  The “Stan” Stan Smith is expected to retail at $100 USD.

Kyle’s adidas Superstar follows a similar design approach.  The sneaker balances a forest green leather upper with light green fleece accents to resemble Kyle’s ushanka.  The laces and tongue are a vibrant orange to mimic his winter coat.  Additionally, the tongue features a pocket in an explicit nod to his utility jacket.  The off-white toe box flows well into the sole of the sneaker to perfectly capture Kyle’s signature outfit.  The “Kyle” Superstar is expected to retail at $100 USD.

Next up is our favorite sneaker of the bunch, the Kenny NMD R1.  During the first five seasons of the show, nearly every episode ended with Kenny dying in some absurd manner.  This NMD R1 is made to look like a dead version of Kenny – blood-soaked, beaten, and bruised, complete with a stitch down the middle.  Further, the midsole displays the acronym “OMGTKK,” referencing the iconic phrase “Oh My God, They Killed Kenny.”  Surprisingly, the inner-lining of the sneaker appears to be made from a brown fleece fabric.  The “Kenny” NMD R1 is expected to retail at $160 USD.

Finally, we have Eric Cartman’s Forum Low.  The sneaker is primarily dressed in red leather with yellow and sky blue accents.  The upper is also noticeably puffy, referencing Cartman’s “big-boned” physique.  The “Cartman” Forum Low is expected to retail at $100 USD.  Each sneaker features co-branded insoles and special-edition packaging.

You can check out official images of all four South Park sneakers in the gallery above.  Though a release date has yet to be confirmed, expect these sneakers to drop online and in select stores in the coming weeks.  In the meantime, which sneaker is your favorite?  Let us know in the comments section below!  Lastly, for more sneaker news, Kaws x sacai x Nike Blazer Lows Confirmed to Arrive this Fall.
