One of our favorite brands has another footwear collaboration on the horizon. To get things warmed up, literally. Stüssy joins forces with Nike once again for a brand new collection. The collection features a trio of upcycled and insulted pieces, perfect for still chilly months.
What we get is a well-done pullover hoodie, skirt and pants for this drop. Made from translucent ripstop that’s constructed from recycled nylon. Made from waste products Nike reclaimed ranging from carpeting to used fishing nets. All these pieces feature Thermore EcoDown, in place of traditional feather down made from recycled polyester that’s perfect for regulating temperature and its water and wind resistant.
We’re not crazy about the graphic, but it still contrasts well with Nike and Stüssy branding. The graphic comes in the form of a green print that features a pale tone found throughout. Finally, snap buttons and adjustable pull-cords match the militaristic motif presented by the structural, shapely silhouettes.
The Stüssy x Nike capsule drops on Stüssy’s website and select Chapter stores and Dover Street Market retailers around the world on January 29. You can take a detailed look at the images in the gallery above. Lastly, for more fashion news, Naomi Osaka Becomes Louis Vuitton’s Newest Brand Ambassador.
