Entertainment in the living room just got far more immersive with Sony BRAVIA‘s new XR Master Series. Sony continues to push the boundaries of immersion, and now they’ve announced a new TV collection that features “Cognitive Processing”. Essentially, what the TV’s do is simulate how the human brain operates and dynamically adjusts in actual time.
The new collection of TV’s come with 8K full-array LED and HDR screens that, paired with the new technology will “cross-analyze and optimize hundreds of thousands of elements in the blink of an eye,” as per Sony’s product statement. The result is a screen that will reproduce colors as they’re seen in the reality, where different objects will have subtle differences. Such as viewing textures on a jersey or a basketball during sports games.

Motion blur is no longer an issue. Just as our human eyes can follow fast-paced motion without vision blur, the new XR Master Series collection seeks to capture this benefit in its new TV’s and will do so from any angle. As a bonus, it also features an X-Anti Reflective technology.
Sony’s also drastically improved sound, which will also feature far more realism. The tech-giant does this with an all new vibrating frame tweeter and front-facing subwoofers give you full immersive sound regardless your positioning in the living room. The TV also features 3D sound for a truly encapsulating experience.
The full list of technological features (which includes everything from Google assistance to its minimalistic design features) can be found on the Sony website.
