We got a quick look at these earlier this year in February. Now we finally get an official look at Virgil Abloh and Jordan Brand‘s Off-White™ x Air Jordan 5 “Sail” via images from Nike. For some these are fantastic, for others it’s a simple pass, but it’s the  OG Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” with Abloh’s touches which often give an unfinished aesthetic.

It all starts with a sail hued TPE upper. This semi-translucent TEP gives off an aged yellow finish, you’ll find red “23” and “Nike Air” hits on the heel, they also keep the 3M tongue and the red embroidered Jumpman graphic and signature lace toggle.

Of course it wouldn’t be an Off-White™ sneaker without Virgil’s Helvetica text found on the medial sides and the signature zip tie. One cool feature of the shoe are these TPE circular pieces that you can cut out to give the shoe a fresh look. We saw this on the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic,” all you need to remove these is a razor blade and you’re in business. This all sits atop a black midsoles and yellowed outsoles to finish the look.

The Off-White™ x Air Jordan 5 “Sail” is rumored to drop on Nike SNKRS October 24, though we’ve received no confirmation from Nike. They’ll retail for $225 USD. Once we do find the official date. We will update this post.
