Because of COVID-19 pandemic, and travel restrictions artists aren’t able to link up as often. So the videos releasing during this pandemic have had to be more creative. For DJ Khaled and Drake. Their latest single “POPSTAR” gets a new visual. DJ Khaled and Drake enlist Justin Bieber to star as the videos centerpiece.
The video starts off with Khaled sending Drake multiple videos requesting a video for “POPSTAR,” Frustrated and annoyed Drake speaks to OVO Chubbs, who also happens to be his head of security. To resolve the issue, Drizzy calls in a favor from none other than Justin Bieber.
As we progress through the “POPSTAR” video we find Justin Bieber walking through his home assuming the persona. Honestly, there’s no one more fitting when it comes to what the song represents. Scooter Braun also makes an appearance. The visual ends with Bieber waking up from this dream next to his wife Hailey Baldwin. They decide to take their dog for a walk and a call from Drake comes through.
