The Nike Air Jordan 1 OG "Game Royal" officially release this May.

I’m gonna be honest with you, I love this shoe. The Air Jordan 1 is such a classic sneaker, it would be hard to tire of them. But frankly, I hope Nike slows down or takes a break from Jordan 1 for a while. Not because I don’t like the Jordan 1 but because we don’t wanna overdo it now, do we?

Since the beginning of this year, Jordan brand continued to capitalize on the popularity of the Air Jordan 1. With dozens of colorways released over the past two years including the recent Court Purple that dropped last month. For the next release, Nike and Jordan Brand will release the second iteration of the Game Royal. Although we weren’t sure if they would delay these because of the COVID-19 pandemic until these were officially confirmed on the sneakers app.

It all starts with the color-blocking on the Air Jordan 1 “Game Royal” 2.0. As they differ from the 2018 release which to many were too similar to the Fragment Air Jordan 1’s. This version moves away a little more and offers a black and white leather upper complimented by the toe box and the outsole in blue. With hits of contrast in white on the midsole, the Wings logo and the Nike Air branding on the tongue.

The Air Jordan 1 OG “Game Royal” will be available on the Nike SNKRS app, Finishline, Eastbay and Foot Locker on May 9 for $170 as well as other authorized Nike online retailers. You can take a detailed look at the images in the gallery above and let us know if you plan on picking up a pair.
