Nike‘s Air Max 95 came on the scene almost 25 years ago. Nike wanted to celebrate this milestone, so Nike Sportswear created the Nike Air Max 95 “Era” iteration. Pulling inspiration from the styling of the mid-’90s, the “Era” aka “Green Safari” combines two different palettes, features bright colors and special touches that date back to the beginning.
Thanks to the iconic design of the Air Max 95 side panels, there’s a lot of room to add things, such as the hit of grey zebra-printed material on the top strip. Below is a smooth sail colored leather with a green and yellow swoosh. In addition, there’s green suede and more sail colored leather. Tongues and collars feature a dope orange trim, and more green appears on the eye stays of the sneaker.
Featured on the tongue is a healthy assortment of green, orange, purple and yellow. This same design can be found on the insoles of the sneaker with each foot featuring a different graphic. Nike finishes things off with flecked laces and purple graphics on the heel. Lastly, this all sits atop clean sail midsoles with dope purple Air Max units and a digital “NIKE-AIR” text on the outsole. You can take a look at the detailed images of the Air Max 96 “Era” above.
