The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Nippon Sangoku has officially dropped its third promotional trailer. This fresh footage offers fans a deeper look into the sweeping political drama while introducing several new cast members and breathtaking visuals. The exciting teaser also reveals the brand new ending theme song titled Chikai performed by the talented artist Leina.

Set in a fractured near future Japan the story takes place after a devastating nuclear war and total governmental collapse. The nation has regressed into a chaotic new era divided into the Yamato Seii and Kanto factions. The narrative centers heavily on the rise of Aoteru Misumi voiced by Kensho Ono who is a former agricultural officer. Armed with immense knowledge and incredibly sharp eloquence he sets out on a calculated mission to reunify the warring country. The new footage heavily highlights the intense high stakes political intrigue and complex power dynamics shifting between the three rival states.

Adapted directly from the popular manga by Ikka Matsuki the series is receiving massive praise for blending deep historical inspiration with dark dystopian themes. Studio Kafka the powerhouse animation studio behind the project provided a special new visual to accompany the trailer. The anime is directed by Kazuaki Terasawa with Takahiko Abiru stepping in to handle character design and serve as the chief animation director.

Fans worldwide will not have to wait much longer to experience this thrilling saga. The ambitious series is scheduled to make its massive global premiere on April 5 streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
