The ongoing partnership between BEAMS and Birkenstock is bringing serious heat for the upcoming Spring and Summer season. Arriving right in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic Boston silhouette the two brands are dropping a highly textured new version of the beloved footwear. This release marks the fourth official entry in their highly sought after Bone Pattern series and it introduces a massive material upgrade to the familiar design.

Instead of the usual suede the creative team swapped in a sleek and incredibly high quality smooth black leather construction. This luxurious material choice completely elevates the shoe while demanding a bit of respect. Anyone lucky enough to grab a pair will definitely want to keep a good leather conditioner on hand to maintain that rich dark finish over time.

The standout detail is undoubtedly the heavy upper embossing. The designers took direct inspiration from the classic traction pattern found on the bottom of Birkenstock outsoles and pressed that signature Bone Pattern deeply across the entire leather upper. Blending the aggressive black finish with the refined leather creates an incredibly versatile option perfectly tailored for elevated street casual outfits.

Fans looking to secure this stealthy release have a couple of chances. The collaborative shoe officially drops on March 20 at the BEAMS Harajuku location with a wider release following on March 22 through the main BEAMS and BEAMS BOY web platforms.
