Nike is set to release a new and compelling iteration of one of its most iconic silhouettes, the Air Force 1 Low, this time reimagined completely in “Black Denim.” The upcoming model swaps the shoe’s traditional leather construction for a durable and stylish new textile.

This updated take on the classic stays true to its name, with rugged black denim fabric used to construct the entire upper, from the toe box to the heel. The same material is used for the signature panel Swoosh and the heel tab, creating a cohesive, monochromatic, and richly textured look. The all-black theme continues down to the shoe’s sole unit, which features a black midsole and outsole, tied together by matching black laces.

Subtle branding details are found on the tongue tag, the stamped insoles, and the classic embroidered Nike Air logo on the heel. The only point of contrast on the entire sneaker is the iconic silver AF1 lace dubrae, which provides a complementing pop of metallic color against the dark backdrop.

A release date for the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Denim” has not yet been announced, but it is expected to arrive in the coming months.
