OMEGA revealed two new Seamaster Diver 300M watches to honor the James Bond franchise’s 60th anniversary.
GoldenEye occupies a particular position in the label’s extensive library of James Bond films. It was the first to depict the main character wearing an OMEGA Seamaster watch. Lindy Hemming, the costume designer from GoldenEye to Casino Royale, explained the style decision, saying, “I was certain that Commander Bond, a navy man, a diver, and a discreet gentleman of the world, would wear this watch.” This marked the beginning of OMEGA’s collaboration with James Bond, which covered both generations of Bond actors, adorning the wrists of both Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig‘s 007.
