Nike has unveiled a plethora of new Dunks this past week, including this addition to its lineup of MLB-inspired Dunks. Earlier this year, Nike unveiled Dunks honoring the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, and Philadelphia Phillies. Now, the Kansas City Royals join the fold with their own Dunk Low.
Nike Gets Cozy with the Dunk Low “Fur & Bling”
The blue and gold scheme of the Royals Dunk Low is slightly reminiscent of Supreme’s SB Dunk Low “Hyper Blue” from 2021. The upcoming pairs honor Kansas City’s signature “Royal Blue” and “Gold” color palette. The traditional white leather base features bright “Royal Blue” leather overlays, Swooshes, and interior lining. Gold foil accents appear on the tongue tag’s Nike branding, as well as the heel tab beneath white Nike branding. Rounding out the baseball-inspired sneakers are white midsoles with popping gold rubber outsoles.
