Amidst all the latest fashion collaborations and emerging Fall/Winter 2022 collections, there is arguably no bigger drop than the Palace x Gucci Vault collab. Described as being “Guccier than Gucci,” the range expertly weaves together the languages of the two collaborators. Titled “Palucci,” the collection offers a unisex range of Guccified Palace essentials, Palace-worked classics, and everything in between.

The Most Infamous Ball in the NBA: A Retrospective

Logos infiltrate much of the Palace x Gucci collection with the signature “GG” motif alongside Palace’s Triferg to create an unmissably identifiable and instantly iconic look. Palace takes things up a notch by adding sensibility and references unique to the brand. The star of the show is without question the leather biker jacket and matching leather pants decorated in Italian sports motifs and a vintage aesthetic. The outfit pairs perfectly with the customized MOTO GUZZI V7 motorbike.

Other outerwear includes a shearling jacket with all-over “GG” embossing and a faux-fur-fitted denim jacket with crystal studs. Additionally, Palace signature hoodies sport a Gucci-fied Triferg logo. Printed football jerseys ooze Italian -80s nostalgia, while ringer T-shirts make another archival-inspired debut. Further, nods to Tom Ford-era Gucci come across as strong in womenswear. Canvas monogram miniskirts feature crystal-embellished Palace and Gucci-branded thong straps. Triangular bikini tops and patent leather tote bags further this energy while bootcut jeans, kilts, bucket hats, umbrellas, and skater-boy jeans represent archival influences while referencing Palace’s own work. To bring the capsule together, cozy staples lean into Y2k-era skateboarding tropes that Palace frequently riffs on. This includes a wool jacquard knit bomber with tiger graphics and a checkered shirt with dragon embroidery.

Last but certainly not least is the footwear. Palace takes Gucci signature Horsebit Loafer and dresses it in black leather with “P” emblems as charms. Louder takes are covered in a dual-branded graphic canvas in brown, tan, and pink colorways. Additionally, webbing slides bear the Gucci colors alongside Palace branding. Additional items in the collection include a Triferg coin pouch, printed silk pillows, GG-P Supreme safe box, and AirPods case.

Additionally, the collection will appear in pop-up stores in Paris, Milan, Tokyo, Osaka, and Bangkok, as well as via takeovers of Palace stores in London, New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo.
