It’s been over a year since J Balvin first teased his second collaboration with Jordan Brand. Serving as the follow-up on the duo’s Air Jordan 1. If you were a fan of the first collaboration than you’ll be happy to know the “Prince of Reggaeton” not only prepared a sneaker coming in the form of an Air Jordan 2 but there’s also a full apparel collection with Jordan Brand as well. We showcased official images of his Air Jordan 2 earlier this summer, courtesy of Nike. You can now have a full look at the apparel and accessories offered in addition to the reveal of a brand new collaborative slide.
J Balvin’s take on the Air Jordan 2 serves as the highlight for the release. Although the varsity jacket will likely be a fan favorite, paired with new slides and a custom basketball which all compliment the main course. The Jordan Super Play serves as the slide silhouette of choice with collaborative detailing found throughout the colorful upper. With apparel, the varsity jacket is backed by hoodies, a crewneck, tees, fleece pants and a pair of shorts, all carrying thematic elements throughout. As for the accessories, a J Balvin x Jordan Brand basketball combines with an adjustable hat and two crew sock colorways to complete this energetic capsule.
The J Balvin x Jordan Brand collection drops on September 15 via Nike and select retailers. With a retail price of $300 USD for the Air Jordan 2, $70 USD for the slides and between $14 USD to $500 USD for the apparel. You can view the full collection in the gallery above.
