It seems that by the end of 2022, Nike will dress its classic Dunk silhouette in every possible color combination. Fresh off several outside-the-box Dunk releases, the Swoosh shows the retro look isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Nike returns to its two-toned roots with the “Team Red” colorway.

Reminiscent of Nike’s “Be True to Your School” Pack from 1985, the hoops-turned-lifestyle silhouette sports a rich shade of red. The titular color drapes over smooth leather overlays, laces, Swooshes, and interior lining. To offset the darker hue, a pure white hue dominates the perforated toe boxes, quarters, tongues, collars, and traditional heel tab branding. Midsoles are left without filling, coupled with an outsole altered to a slightly lighter shade of red. The “Team Red” joins the “Varisty Purple” and “Midas Gold” colorways as part of Nike’s classic style Dunk deliveries kicking off the new year.
