It’s no secret that Nike and Virgil Abloh have a longstanding relationship. So for his latest collaboration endeavour, the Off-White™ CEO sets his sights on Jordan Brand once again. What we’ll receive is a two-part collaboration from Jordan Brand and Off-White™, centered on the forgotten Air Jordan 2. We receive one “Black/Blue” and one “White/Red” variant that are sure to be some of the most hyped sneakers to release this year.

Nike Drops Off Three New Air Force 1 Lows With Golden Trimming

We appreciate the look of the “Black/Blue” iteration as it goes for a more understated approach. Yet still showcases Abloh’s unique design characteristics. Starting with a solid black hue featured primarily on the upper. It wraps over the leather base, tongues, lower heel pieces and the interior liners. While a bold blue hue sits neatly on the wings logos on the tongues, the laces, trimming on the mid-foot and the ribbed heel panels. Of course, you’ll find the traditional Helvetica branding printed on the medial sides. You’ll also find the signature zip-tie hang tag placed on the laces. One welcomed addition is Michael Jordan‘s actual signature comes featured on the quarters and midsoles that come with a pre-crumbled aesthetic. The shoes also come packaged in a special cream box that has punched out holes.

While we have little information on a release date from Nike there’s a high chance we’ll see an official launch for these in the coming weeks. You can take a detailed look at the images of the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 2 Low “Black/Blue” in the gallery above.
