The Live-Action ‘Yū Yū Hakusho’ Series Will Be Filmed at TOHO Studio Tokyo

We have more news regarding Netflix‘s upcoming live-action remake of Yū Yū Hakusho. We know, they’re usually not a good idea. For those who remember Dragon Ball Evolution, you know exactly what we’re talking about. Nonetheless, we’ve been given some assurances. For genuine fans, you understand how important this is.

For one, Kazutaka Sakamoto will direct the film, and it’ll be produced by Akira Morii/studio ROBOT COMMUNICATIONS, TOHO Studios signed on the dotted line to work with Netflix on the series. For those who aren’t aware, Netflix will lease the iconic TOHO space in Tokyo. This will give Netflix access to 10 sound stages, Stage 7 and Stage 10 for the production of the live-action series.
