In 2005, in tribute to a very special ABA team, Nike released the original Nike Dunk Low SB “Rayguns” in the “home” and “away” colorways. The shoe returned in 2019, this time in tribute to the late Nike SB pioneer, Sandy Bodecker, who was an avid fan of the tie-dye Rayguns hoodie. Nike will once again pay tribute to that ABA team with the release of classic basketball silhouettes.
This “Rayguns” version of the Nike Air Raid comes with a Black nubuck and Gold upper, a White midsole, and Orange cross-straps as well an Orange lining. A “Rayguns” logo can be found on the tongue, star icons on the pull tabs, and “Rayguns” text on the insoles.
