One of the most iconic Air Jordan 11 colorways will return in 2021. The Air Jordan 11 will release in the “Legend Blue” iteration, but this time in a low model. These were first introduced in 1996 as the “Columbia”. Michael Jordan wore these on feet at the 1996 NBA All-Star Game. They later renamed the model to “Legend Blue” when they dropped in 2014. Now this colorway returns next year, but this time in a low-cut model.
Due to its low construction, you’ll no longer find that ballistic mesh found on the high-top counterpart. This time we receive the “Legend Blue” with a white leather base. You’ll still find that Jordan 11 signature patent leather in white that functions as the mudguard. For starters, the shoe features a powder blue strip on its mesh tongue, which also features black Jordan text and a white Jumpman logo. The collars feature black as well. They’ve added “25” on the insole instead of the standard “23,” likely for the 25th anniversary of the colorway since it made its debut.
Jordan Brand added the “23” graphics on the heel. This all sits atop a white midsole which features Zoom Air for added comfort. You’ll find a black/blue carbon fiber plate for additional support. They finish off the look with a clean “Legend Blue” hue on the icy outsole.
The Air Jordan 11 Low “Legend Blue” rumored for an April release, although Nike has yet to confirm this. These will probably retail for $185 USD. You can view the images in the gallery below. Lastly, for more sneaker news, Nike Set to Release New GORE-TEX Air Force 1 Low This Fall.
