It’s been three months since we received the first trailer. Now, My Hero Academia has finally announced its release date for season five with another look at what to expect in season five.
Last season tied all the loose ends. For season five, they’ll move to the “Joint Training” arc, which pits Classes 1-A and 1-B against each other in a new training exhibition. The story will showcase for the first time the Quirks of many 1-B students, and also hints at the return of Shinso Hitoshi, a character that played an important role during the second season’s Sports Festival.
Regarding the release date, My Hero Academia season five airs on March 27, 2021, in Japan. If you aren’t hip yet, you can watch previous seasons via Funimation and Crunchyroll. You’ll likely be able to watch season five on these platforms as well when it drops. Watch the new trailer in the player above.
